Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what you control.

Short version: we collect only what you send us, use it to reply to you, never sell it, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

1. Who we are

Gemicle is the trading name of Gemi Clever Solutions, a company based in Israel. We are responsible ("data controller") for personal data collected through gemicle.com. For any privacy question or request, write to start@gemicle.com.

2. What we collect

When you send a form
First Plan brief, week-one plan, open role

Name, work email, company and role (if given), the text you write.

When you apply for a role

Name, email, the LinkedIn or CV link you give us, your note.

When you use the chat

Your messages, and your name and email if you choose to share them.

With every form or chat

The page you were on, your browser type (user agent) and IP address — to fight spam and to know which page you wrote from.

Analytics (only with your consent where the law requires it)

Pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location (country/city), device and browser — through Google Analytics. We never send your name, email or message text to analytics.

Booking a call

Handled by Calendly on its own site, under Calendly's privacy policy.

We don't ask for sensitive data. Please don't put it in a form or chat.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to you and prepare what you asked for: a call, a plan, a proposal. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries.
  • To consider your application for a role, with you or with the client the role is for. Legal basis: steps before a possible contract.
  • To understand which pages help and improve the site. Legal basis: your consent, where required.
  • To keep the site safe from spam and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We don't sell personal data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't make automated decisions about you.

4. Who else sees it

Only the people who need it to reply to you — the founders, and for job applications our HR lead. We use these service providers to run the site; each processes data on our behalf:

  • Our hosting provider — runs the site and stores form and chat data.
  • Telegram — delivers new messages to our team instantly.
  • Google (Google Workspace and Google Analytics) — our lead and application sheets, and site analytics.
  • Calendly — only if you book a call.

If you apply for a role at a client, we share your application with that client only after we've talked to you. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

5. Where it's stored

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires it, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to protect it.

6. How long we keep it

  • Inquiries and chat: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, so we can contact you about similar roles. Ask us and we delete it sooner.
  • Analytics: up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.

7. Cookies and local storage

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — count visits. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland they are set only after you click "Accept". Elsewhere they are on by default, and you can turn them off.
  • Chat session (gemicle_chat_session, local storage) — lets the chat remember your conversation. Needed for the chat to work.
  • Your cookie choice (gm_consent, local storage) — remembers your choice.
  • Open roles cache (gm_jobs, session storage) — avoids reloading the job list on every page. Cleared when you close the tab.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to stop using it, or to give you a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to start@gemicle.com — we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority: in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority; in the EU or UK, your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

Data travels over HTTPS and is stored on access-controlled systems. Only the people who need it can see it. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes are announced on this page.

This site is not directed at children under 16.
